To learn more about HomePod, visit.Today's iTunes update can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for free using the Software Update function. ITunes 12.7.3 follows, a December update that also focused on minor improvements., released in September, was the last major update to iTunes, eliminating the built-in App Store to focus solely on music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, and audiobooks. What about some of us with 12.6.3 which kept the App Store and more importantly for me continued to give me the option of restoring my ringtones to a new iPhone (which is what I did with my new X three weeks ago) that were customized by a third-party app that would’ve been broken in 12.7.x? The third-party app was purchased on the App Store, not jail broken. I don’t need the App Store in iTunes, but I would like to keep my ringtones and the ability to restore them to a new iPhone in the future. Apple could also come out with its own ringtone customization app, but I guess it still wants to sell ringtones.
I've just finished selling all my Sonos equipment. HomePod is the future and I'm going all in. doublepost=/doublepost It is still a bloated, inefficient, piece of trash on Windows. No effort by Apple to make it run any better. Great representation of good Apple software UX for all those Windows users!!
Microsoft does Office on Mac, very well. Apple does iTunes on Windows, very badly. Haha they got something else coming their way. I’ve already made the change, some friends of mine are already hitting the windows bandwagon. Not a bad wagon to be on. Windows 10 is very solid. Almost nobody makes any effort when it comes to Windows applications anymore.
It's a dead platform that exists almost purely to run old legacy applications. Windows doesn't even have a small thriving indie scene like the Mac still has going for it. Also to be fair, iTunes is hardly a slim, efficient, elegant and delightful to use application on the Mac.
It's definitely not as bad as the Windows port, but that's to be expected. As for Office, that used to be the biggest pile of trash on the Mac. Microsoft has improved its capabilities on rival platforms in recent simply because it had no choice. Either Office got better on the devices people own and use everyday, or a lot of people would stop using Microsoft Office. doublepost=/doublepost You should try Apple Music for Android - it’s like worst app you can get. Apple Music on Android is probably as good as it can get on that platform. Apple can't make Android better and it simply has to work within its limitations.

I’m not buying a HomePod, so I can stick with 12.6.3. I've just finished selling all my Sonos equipment. HomePod is the future and I'm going all in. It may be the future, but from what Apple has shown off to-date, it doesn't look like the present. It looks like a nice Apple Music accessory, but a beta one at that. It doesn't have complete SiriKit functionality. Also HomePod's Siri doesn't work with any other streaming service OR your music stored on your own Mac. It doesn't have the same Home Sharing compatibility that Apple devices have had for years.

Neither Airplay2 or the ability sync two HomePods for stereo will be available at launch or likely before summer. So HomePod definitely will be something to watch. It has potential for those of us HomeKit loyalists. But with the limited info Apple is parsing out (why so stingy announcing all the things it can do outside of Apple Music and reading the news if it's such a 'magical' product) it just doesn't seem like it's fully baked yet.
